We swingers seem to be bonobos born into a chimp-dominated society. I don’t want to proselytise, because there is no point. Chimps will – and should – remain chimps. We, however, also need to be ourselves but not to damage others or the valuable social structures which preserve them. We largely accept the chimp way of life and try not to force our activities on them, but we simply recognise that it is not, in every regard, for us.

It’s just rather sad that the chimps don’t  display the same tolerance and understanding of their kin.
